New Backup Solution:
Lookout’s new backup experience enables customers to easily navigate and manage their backed up data, via Google’s backup services. With this experience, you can back up a wide array of data types via Google, including: photos, videos, files, contacts, calendars, email, and documents, and more.
How to configure Your Backup for Contacts, Gmail, Calendar:
- From the Lookout application dashboard, navigate to the Menu and select “Backup”
- Here, you will see if backup for Contacts, Gmail, Calendar is turned “on” or “off” (indicated with a green check mark, or a grey “X”).
- Tap on “Click here to change your backup settings,” and you be directed to a page with all your Google Account Sync settings.
- From here, you can customize your settings by toggling the “on” / “off” button for the specific data you would like to backup, including Contacts, Gmail, and Calendar.
How to configure your picture & video backup:
- From the Lookout application dashboard, navigate to the Menu and select “Backup”
- Here, select “Click here to manage your photo backup”
- You will be navigated from the Lookout app, to the Google Photos app whereby you can set up an account, and view/manage your photos.
How to configure your file & document backup:
- From the Lookout application dashboard, navigate to the Menu and select “Backup”
- Here, select “Click here to manage backup of your files”
- You will be navigated from the Lookout app, to the Google Drive app whereby you can set up an account, and view/manage your files, documents, notes and other data.

Restoring data:
