Social Media Watch has two main functions, Privacy Settings alerts and Post scanning.
Post scanning monitors the social media services you enable to detect if you are tagged in potentially offensive posts and replies. Specifically Lookout is watching out for offensive content associated with your account, including foul language, sexual content, or drug and alcohol references that could damage your reputation.
Privacy settings alerts will scan the privacy settings associated with your social media accounts and alert you if any personal information is made publicly visible, thus leaving you vulnerable to identity theft.
If either of these monitors triggers, Lookout will alert you so you can review your social media account and take appropriate action.
